We began our fall semester on August 29th. Along with our college President, Dr. David Atkinson of Dyer, Indiana preached in our opening services. Emphasis was placed on the Word of God and our relationship with Christ. College began with spiritual decisions being made in our student body. Students also enjoyed various orientation times with the college administration. Special meals and activities were also a part of our opening semester activities. A trip to Canada’s Wonderland was a great event for our college students. A time of fun and fellowship was had by all at Canada’s major theme park. Dr. Baker introduced the new students to our church family during the Sunday evening service at FaithWay Baptist Church. College students are strongly linked to the ministry of the local church in preparation for full-time service. On Labour Day, the college students enjoyed a picnic with the FaithWay Baptist Church family. It was a fun time of activities as well as making new friendships. Classes began on Tuesday, September 4th. Academics is a strong part of the ministry of FaithWay Baptist College of Canada. We matriculated students from across Canada, the U.S.A., India, and Trinidad this semester. Please pray for us as we train servants for the Master.
